what are the symptoms for cat allergies?

I was volunteering at a pet shelter for cats today and I felt really tired and couldn’t breath. I was taking care of the cats from 2-4 and I never felt sick around cats before.

It may have been the multitude of cats that caused the reaction. Or maybe because you’ve been with those particular cats that, you’ve become almost immune to them. You should go to the allergist and get tested. Not breathing is something serious and I’m pretty sure if you had that symptom out of no where, you would have had it around cats before too.

Symptoms for cat allergies are swollen, red, itchy, watery eyes; nasal congestion; itchy nose; sneezing; difficulty breathing (dyspnea), swelling of the feet or hands, chronic sore throat and/or itchy throat; coughing, wheezing, or itchy skin.
