Can i feed my kitty adult cat food?

and i was just wondering if i can feed her adult cat food?
No – adult cat food will not support her rapid growth. Kitten food is more densely packed with protein and other nutrients to support rapid muscle and skeletal growth, and that’s what she needs to be eating. She won’t be called an “adult” cat until she is one year old, and she shouldn’t be eating adult cat food until then either.
At this age, is she still nursing from mom? She probably should be. It’s certainly okay to start putting out solid kitten food so she can start being weaned from about 5 weeks of age on. In fact, the mama kitty should already have been eating kitten food through much of pregnancy and all of nursing – because she needs the nutrients in kitten food to support her growing kittens.
For weaning, canned food is often best to start with. Be prepared for a mess, though – they tend to walk through it a lot.
